Antique China Doll
This lovely China doll was going to need a tremendous amount of work. Although the head/shoulder plate, arms and legs were not damaged, the sawdust filled body was badly dry-rotting with sawdust leaking from numerous locations.
The doctor proceeded to recover all parts of the original body with new fabric and then refill each piece with the sawdust. The bisque arms and legs were reattached and the body was reassembled.
This lady is ready to return home to be dressed. Her fine new body will serve her well for a long time to come.
